Since 2009, the New Mexico QSO Party has partnered annually with a New Mexico amateur radio club to serve as the event’s Host Club. The Host Club helps promote NMQP, encourages its members and other amateurs to participate, and serves as an ambassador for the event within the amateur radio community. Club involvement sends a great message to the ham community, gives the Host Club a unique way to involve and showcase its members, and helps reinforce NMQP as a truly statewide New Mexico amateur radio event.
